The Cattle Team is actively seeking a Veterinary Support Staff. Join us and utilize your skills and knowledge to improve animal care and productivity in our region. Full-time and Part-time positions available.

Location: Wagner and Parkston Office

Qualifications:

• Phone Skills and organizational skills needed
• Computer skills needed
• Vaccine @ antibiotic knowledge helpful/or willingness to learn
• Ability to learn and cross train to provide support to other areas in office as needed
• A positive can-do attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
• High school graduate or GED

Specifics:

• Part-time / Full-time
• Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Full-time position includes health insurance and paid time off
• Wages determined by experience level

Qualifications:

• Experience with blood draws, lab work, taking patient history, working with cats and dogs, IV catheters, administering medications, surgical prep/monitoring and client education and records
• Ability to and willingness to cross train and provide backup support to the front desk

Location: Parkston and Wagner, SD

Duties:

• Working with large animals, primarily livestock.
• Moving livestock into and out of alleys and pens.
• Assisting with all aspects of animal treatment and care under Veterinarian supervision.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED.
• Physically able to work with large animals, including stooping, standing, and bending for several hours.
• Physically able to set up chutes for working cattle in the country.

Specifics:

• Full-time position, but part-time opportunities can be explored.
• Monday to Friday schedule with varying hours based on workload.
• Some weekend on-call duties to assist with emergencies.

• Wages determined by experience.

Location: Parkston, SD

Duties:

• Oversee maintenance of all locations, including vehicles, chutes, outside facilities, inside pens, parking lot, and lawn
• Perform hands-on repairs/maintenance to ensure the safe and proper operation of equipment and facilities
• Conduct all activities to ensure a safe environment for all staff

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED
• Skills in welding, electronics, mechanical repair, and other technical skills would be very useful
• Physical ability to lift or carry heavy loads as needed
• Self-starter able to work alone or with limited supervision
