The Cattle Team is actively seeking a Veterinary Support Staff. Join us and utilize your skills and knowledge to improve animal care and productivity in our region. Full and Part Time positions available.

Location: Parkston, SD

Duties:

• Working with large animals, primarily livestock.
• Moving livestock into and out of alleys and pens.
• Assisting with all aspects of animal treatment and care under Veterinarian supervision.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED.
• Physically able to work with large animals, including stooping, standing, and bending for several hours.
• Physically able to set up chutes for working cattle in the country.

Specifics:

• Full-time position, but part-time opportunities can be explored.
• Monday to Friday schedule with varying hours based on workload.
• Some weekend on-call duties to assist with emergencies.
• Health insurance and paid time off provided.
• Wages determined by experience.

Location: Parkston, SD

Duties:

• Oversee maintenance of all locations, including vehicles, chutes, outside facilities, inside pens, parking lot, and lawn.
• Perform hands-on repairs/maintenance to ensure the safe and proper operation of equipment and facilities.
• Conduct all activities to ensure a safe environment for all staff.

Safety Coordinator Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED.
• Skills in welding, electronics, mechanical repair, and other technical skills would be very useful.
• Physical ability to lift or carry heavy loads as needed.
• Self-starter able to work alone or with limited supervision.

Specifics:

• Part-time / Full-time.
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, or as needed.
• Full-time position includes health insurance and paid time off.
• Wages determined by experience level.
