Mitchell Livestock/the Vet Shack has been a great success for the "Cattle Team." It enables us to continue the journey from the birth of an animal until its uptake into commercial feeding or the food chain. Our goal for expansion and our ability to get things done have made this a great fit for the "Team." Nowhere else can you get the diversity of management strategies and concentration of producers from all areas, of the states and neighboring states. If we can't improve from all of this combined knowledge and become better informed and educated, we are not trying. By improving ourselves, we better the whole cattle industry.

Our clients come from many geographic areas. We offer haul in treatment for animals and process many cattle for clients and buyers. We have competitively priced products and also offer ambulatory visits if warranted. Horses are an important part of our business in the Mitchell area, but only routine vaccinations are offered for small animal.

Lennie Zens: Rural Sales

Lennie Zens: Rural Sales

Hi, I'm Lennie Zens, Rural Salesman for Northwest Veterinary and Supply. Most of you know me as I have been in the Animal Health business for 43 years. I have known Dr. Barz all that time, especially the last 19 years I've been working with him. As the years fly by and the business always changing, I feel our company has kept up with our clients' needs.

Dr Barz and I are not only old, but we are old school as we believe the client is always first. If I had to pick three words to describe myself, they would be, 'loyalty, service and friendship. I've always believed if you want your client to trust you, they must believe in you! I want to believe that all my clients are my friends, and if they want something in a hurry, I will get it to them!!!
